Choosing sanity

No, I don't think so.
Any friendship with you is
out of the question.
The definition of insanity that I
learned the very hard way
- doing the same thing over and over
expecting different results -
definitely applies here.
I've known you over thirty years
You have always been a narcissistic prick
using other people to meet your needs
with no regard for theirs or
their hearts.
You were then. You really were, no
matter how much I crushed on you.
You are now. You really, really are now.
Oh, and you also sound a bit like a
sociopath, now that I think about it.
So, in answer to your assurances that
'things have changed', they haven't.
Question answered.

    been wondering the same thing about a certain friend of ours hate to think bad of him hope he's not showing early signs of a sociopath in the making but it does make a person wonder about some people sometimes.

    you are right. you can't get different results if you are fishing in the same pond.
